RAPS invests in the future
RAPS announces huge investment plans to secure and enhance the future of the business. Up to 45 million Euros are being invested in improving and developing many areas of the company. More than 5 million Euros are earmarked for new product development in the next few years. To support this commitment, a new Technical Centre will be built at a cost of 16 million Euros to house NPD labs and test kitchen facilities as well as provide a great forum for our customers to come together with our teams to develop new ideas and develop product solutions.
In a bid to become to truly 'allergen-free' production site, RAPS is investing heavily in new production techniques and hygiene systems. It recently installed a fully automated disinfection station at the entrance of the main production plant, at a cost of 4 million Euros. On entering the facility employees are able to use the hands-free disinfection unit whilst simultaneously having the soles of their shoes dry-cleaned.
Further improvements are also planned in the warehousing and logistics to meet the future demands of a growing global business.
